Dear Residents,
As you all are aware that presently Pune city is facing acute shortage of water and so Pune Municipal Corporation will be discontinuing water supply on every Thursday and on rest of the days the supply will be with low pressure till the arrival of Monsoon. On Friday’s PMC will resume water supply only after 4 pm. The availability of water from various sources have also reduced drastically. Please note that this situation is BEYOND ANYBODY’S CONTROL.
To overcome this situation, the Company has implemented cut down for water supply as mentioned below –
CUT DOWN OF WATER SUPPLY (FOR MAY AND JUNE ‘23)
Every Thursday 10:00 am to 05:00 pm
Every Friday 10:00 am to 05:00 pm
- Please store water as per your requirement during the water cut down period. Do not throw away stored water but utilize it the next day.
- Please ensure that all taps are closed before leaving the house. Negligence of any kind of water wastage by any individual shall attract penalty up to Rs. 5000/-.
- Avoid unnecessary and frequent washing of terrace balcony, washrooms, vehicles, varanda’s etc. during summer season.
- Rectify all your plumbing accessories to avoid leakages.
- Guide community helpers such as housemaids, cook, car washers etc. to use minimum water and monitor them.
