MAGARPATTA CITY ENVIRONMENT CLUB ACTIVITIES- 23 SEPT 2018
As part of the Magarpatta City Ganesh Festival 2018, the Magarpatta Environment Club shall be organising the following activities at Aditi Garden on Sunday 23 Sept 2018.
- Talk in the Amphitheatre by Mrs Vijaya Chakravarty, an eminent Ecologist and Landscape Designer, on the Medicinal value of different Leaves used during the Puja which are associated with Lord Ganesh. This will coincide with the Painting Competition.
- A Nature Walk in Aditi Garden after the Talk & Competition where different Trees, Shrubs, Mammals, Butterflies and Birds will be identified and their characteristics discussed.
- Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) – Common Bird Monitoring Programme – Monsoon Season Count – 16-23 Sept 2018. Members of the Magarpatta City Environment Club are conducting this count from 7 AM to 8.30 AM. Others desirous of participating are welcome to join in.
Start Point and End Point is Erica Club House. Route being followed is Erica – Ozone Circle – enter Aditi Garden through Gate No 2 and exit towards ABS – follow road to ABS & DC and turn at School junction – walk along Yummy-Tummy road and enter Daffodils before returning to the Erica Club House. This route had been followed on three earlier occasions last year. It is been Registered with BNHS and we have been given a GRID No.
