A brief on Magarpatta City Ganesh Utsav 2014

As per traditions the Magarpatta City Citizens Council – Cultural Committee organized the Ganesh Utsav 2014 from 29th Aug to 8th Sept 2014 at the Amphitheater Aditi Gardens, Magarpatta City.

The cultural programs spread over eleven days were solo/duet dances, group dances for all age’s residents from 4yrs to 70yrs, fancy dress, musical orchestra, bhajan sandhyas, handicrafts exhibition & sale of articles.

On 29th Aug 2014, Lord Ganesh Sthapana – Puja was performed with the newly developed Dhol-tasha band performance, followed by felicitation for 10th and 12th std students who secured more than 80% marks and group dances performances by our little kids.

On 30th & 31st Aug 2014, solo/duet dances, group dances, musical instruments and singing performances by our rising star kids.

On 1st Sept to 4th Sept 2014, bhajan sandhyas, bhartnatyam dance and handicrafts exhibitions and sale of articles were organized.

On 5th & 6th Sept 2014, our Citizens, Magarpatta City staff, choreographers & security staff performed dances, skits and a dance-drama with awareness message on current issues.

On 7th Sept 2014, our singers and Rdx Orchestra had a musical night followed by prize distribution.

On 8th Sept 2014, we performed Ganesh Visarjan with Dhol-tasha, lezims and dance by the Citizens and a huge procession, which lasted for over four hours from Aditi Gardens to our Main Gate.

Throughout the eleven days, the Citizens of Magarpatta City had great entertainment, fun & food with the ritual mood. All programs witness by 6000-8000 Magarpatta citizens each day.

A big thanks to all the Cultural Committee, Management & PMS Staff specially Ms. Joystana and Mr. Santosh, Security and all citizens for their whole heartily co-operations for making this event successful.
